Snopes: Another Cult is Rising!

I am genuinely amazed once again how gullible Americans have become especially so called Christian Americans. You would think that it is just common knowledge to people after they grow up mentally that no one can be right about everything and that every human being has biases and prejudices. These are just the basic things that people once learned in life. This is what happens when we deviate from the Bible which is absolute truth.

Every now and then I receive an email from some naive person telling me that they checked out some current event with Snopes to see what the truth is. They talk and insinuate that Snopes is never wrong. Many people talk about Snopes as if it is some sort of all knowing god that has no bias, no prejudice and as if it is alpha and omega the beginning and the end.

It is almost as if people have turned this little organization if you will in to a god that is infallible.

I don't mean to sound coarse but people in the name of common sense who watches Snopes and verifies their information? When you read their opinions do you just hang your brains up at the door?

I realize that this is going to take the wind out of some cult like followers sails but even Snopes is not right about everything. Its time to wake up! A wise man once told me "some people grow older but some never grow up." I have noticed through careful study that Snopes leans to the left in the political and religious spectrum of things.

Some people who cannot think for themselves have turned Snopes into a cult .
