Hi: my name is Mark Finkbeiner and I am the webmaster of this website. I would like to
relate a true story to you the reader what happened to me on October 21, 2005, 9:30
AM at a church called Columbia Community Church. This story in no way reflects on
this particular church. I go to this church every Friday and teach science to 4 different
homeschool age groups. This amounts to about 80 kids total. On this day I decided to
teach on dinosaurs to the 5 and 6 year olds. I asked the class (17 kids) what kind of
animals got on Noah's Ark? They told me that lions, tigers, bears and giraffes got on
the Ark. Then I asked them if dinosaurs got on the Ark. They all said very loudly and
confidently "no"! I then asked them why did the dinosaurs not get on the ark and most
of them said because they went extinct or died off millions of years ago. A few of them
said that they were to big to get on the Ark. I then asked them if God created the
dinosaurs and most of them said very loudly and confidently "no"!
Here is the moral to the story. If we are going to brainwash kids into thinking that
dinosaurs died off millions of years ago then you may as well be consistent and just
teach them that God never created the dinosaurs. In their little minds they associate
millions of years with no creator at all. It is wrong to prey on children teaching them
junk science. No real scientist makes dogmatic statements like "all dinosaurs have
died off millions of years ago. No human being could know that for sure. Have you
been everywhere at once? How do you know for sure what a dinosaur is?
Listen up and listen good this story proves my whole point. If you teach that
dinosaurs lived millions of years ago and that the earth is old then you may as well be
teaching atheism to the kids.
This is not the first time that this has happened to me. It happened once at a vacation
Bible school when I was a guest speaker. I asked the same questions and I got the
same answers that God did not create the dinosaurs, because they died off millions of
years ago.
If you are a person reading this article and you teach that dinosaurs died off millions
of years ago then you are in rebellion against science and scientificaly challenged.
Read this verse and you should rethink ever teaching that dinosaurs died off millions
of years ago.
(Mat 18:6 KJV) But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it
were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were
drowned in the depth of the sea.
If you claim to be a Christian/scientist and you teach that dinosaurs died off millions of
years ago you need to be ashamed of yourself.
